In a world where coffee and wine reign supreme, why settle for a formal dining room gathering dust? At To Do Done Renovations, we specialize in crafting spaces that reflect our clients’ passions and lifestyle. Take, for instance, our Cumberland project: a main floor transformation including a light and bright coffee bar, hidden laundry, an open and inviting kitchen gathering place, and a sleek fireplace with a TV that doubles as artwork.
Our client said goodbye to the traditional dining room in favour of a custom coffee bar, seamlessly doubling as a wine oasis. It was not just a renovation; it was a transformation of how they use their space. They now spend mornings savoring a latte while catching up on the news, productive workdays with their coffee bar as the backdrop for Zoom calls, and Friday evenings with wine and friends.
For the coffee bar, we built in features that include a sleek tiled backsplash reaching to the ceiling, floating shelves for displaying favorite mugs or wine glasses, and ample cupboard space for kitchen essentials. By removing the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room, we achieved a flow that breathes new life into the space.
Gorgeous, although it’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about functionality. We created a classic and timeless kitchen that centers the action in the house, and finished off the main floor by modernizing the fireplace wall with floating shelves and built-ins, transforming the powder room and laundry and back entry areas. Every detail is tailored to enhance the experience.
