To call this a cottage is a bit of a misnomer. This stunning home on Kingsmere Lake in Chelsea was transformed by our team in 2023. The old version had walls cutting apart the kitchen and dining area, had narrow hallways, had an oversized and underused jacuzzi tub and underappreciated outdoor spaces. The parts of the home that our clients loved, though, were the wood trims around the windows (which we kept, restored, and reinstalled), the windows surrounding the main floor, the hardwood floors (which we sanded, pieced in, and stained) and the original wood bannister on the central staircase.
Suffice to say, we took the home apart and put it back together. We demolished walls, widened hallways, moved the bathrooms to new locations, installed a custom spa room, and more. So much so that we’ve had to break up this gallery piece into two – the indoor spaces and the spa and outdoor spaces. Perhaps the best way to sum up our clients’ reaction to our work is to quote their google review:
